TAKES TOP AWARD IN
NFDA PRODUCT COMPETITION

Boston, MA___Duncan Stuart Todd, Ltd., the Preparation Room Specialists, was awarded first place in an Innovation Awards competition as a part of the NFDA International Convention and Expo in Boston, October 25 to 28. In its first sponsored competition, the association named the Todd Trocar Well, adapted for wall mounting, as its top winner.

The Todd Trocar Well is a system for disinfecting and sterilizing trocars. Accepting the trophy in a ceremony at the convention were Marjori and Duncan Todd.

Attendees visiting the DST booth at the show were able to view the product which offers funeral directors an alternative method of installation. The original product is designed for mounting in a countertop. In response to market needs, the wall mount version was developed by DST. This version is particularly suitable for renovation projects when existing conditions don’t permit countertop installation.

Todd Morgue Table Receptor 8000

Incline Village, NV___The “8000”, a new version of the innovative Todd Morgue Table Receptor 5000 system, is now available in a limited edition from Duncan Stuart Todd, Ltd. The Todd MTRs are a rinsing rim direct drain system for waste removal at the foot-end of the table.

Functionally equivalent to the original model, the 8000 series was developed in response to market need for a product with a price point lower than top-of-the-line 5000. The 8000 version differs only in the material used for the unit’s lower shroud.

The three-sided base shroud is manufactured from cold rolled steel, with textured black powder-coat finish. The top of the unit is composed of 16-gauge stainless steel finish.
